Romans 4: Faith in God’s Promise

We are spending 16 weeks surveying the Letter to the Romans. While there are many shorter passages in the letter that would merit an entire message on them, the goal here is to cover the letter chapter by chapter in order to get the sweep of Paul’s overall message to the Roman church, because it is also the message to the church here and now.

Pastor Tony Stoutenburg of Grace Lutheran Church explains what it means that salvation comes because of the promise of God.

This message does not go verse by verse, because at the first service we celebrated our High School Graduates, and at the second service we had a baptism, which made it a busy day and we did not want to extend the service too long. And, by the way, the baby’s name is Tysen, so when you hear his name several times in the message, you know who that is.

If our messages are a blessing to you, please consider supporting the ministry of Grace Lutheran Church, as you are able, with your prayers and resources.
